So I have seen a growing interest in pushing the limits of CSS by replacing saved images with CSS-generated logos, imagery, etc. This is not required for most of my clients, but I figured I would take a stab at it myself to see if I could even pull it off. Here is a little demo of that I did with my “gr” logo using only CSS, no images. Tell me what you think!

Launched this website for Abandon Kansas, appropriately named band…in Kansas. These guys have a great sound, & an even greater purpose. Frontman Jeremy has been in contact with me for some time now, working out the details of the site. We launched late July & the site has been booming since. Packed with visual & audio content, as well as further information like Chords & Lyrics, this site is the pinnacle of what I love doing for bands, individuals, & ministries. Take a look & enjoy!

Decided to brand the site, since the url was not just the band name.

I remember around this time last year, John approached me about an idea he had to really dive into ministry using his God-given abilities. John has been working hard for the past year to launch Kingdom Project Creative: A communication partner for ministries & the time has come. With the materials in place, and the prayers constant, Kingdom Project was officially launched this morning.

I am proud to be a member of the Creative Team on the project & look forward to seeing what God does through our efforts. Our prayer is that other ministries would be more effective, not because we want the world to look prettier, but because we have a desire to see God change lives.

Here’s a look at some media we created for Beckah’s latest full-length release, “LIFE”. Not only did we cover album art, but the site was launched on release day. Beckah Shae needed a hub for her fans to go beyond her lyrics & her music & get to know who she is & see her passions. We also implemented a fully-functional webstore for selling Beckah Shae Merchandise. Please check it out & support Beckah as she & her husband Jack pursue their ministry in music.

I was recently contacted by Lisa @ Warner Nashville to assist in developing a Myspace Layout for one of their country artists. Frankie Ballard is an up & coming Nashville country artist with grit. A sort of Blake Shelton-esque, Dierks Bentley type, Frankie has released a single that is totally radio ready. And with the same management as Kenny Chesney, summer 2010 should prove to be a successful one.

You can listen to his new single Tell Me You Get Lonely at myspace.com/frankieballard.
About 3 years back, while the band I was in was playing in TN, we got the chance to play with a band called House of Heroes. I had heard they had created quite a following for themselves, but assumed they were just another velcro band (throw it to the wall & see if it sticks). We played our set & loaded off stage & HOH loaded on. I believe it was around the time they owned a Queen cover song that I realized that there was serious talent in this group. From the opener to the last song, in a tiny little meeting hall in the suburbs of Nashville, I was astonished at the fact I hadn’t heard of these guys before. Since then, I have had multiple chances to be a part of spreading the word about their music through Gotee Records, a label I work with based out of Franklin, TN.
This past month, I got the opportunity to create some web materials for House of Heroes. They are releasing their fourth full-length album entitled “Suburba” & one of the greatest parts of this release campaign is that I was given great tools to do so with, via Eddy Boer: a mastermind of print design.

Alabama Colon & Rectal Institute needed something new. Their old website was hardly functional, & lacked the personality & professionalism of their staff. So I set out to create an online hub where patients & info-seekers alike could go to learn more about “The Butt Hutt” (ACRI’s “cheeky” nickname).
